About Stephanie McWhirter, FNP-BC

Stephanie McWhirter, FNP-BC, is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner who believes in providing patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs, priorities, and preferences. She is committed to approaching every patient with compassion, clear communication, and education, with the goal of building trust and respect. Stephanie places a strong emphasis on empowering patients through knowledge—helping them better understand their skin and overall health so they can actively participate in their care alongside her and their broader healthcare team.Her philosophy of care is rooted in delivering safe, evidence-based, and effective treatments while focusing on the patient as a whole. For Stephanie, this is not just a profession but a true calling.Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, including her children, grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Odin. She has a creative side and loves drawing with charcoal and pencil, as well as exploring photography. A lifelong learner, she dedicates much of her free time to staying up to date on the latest in dermatology by reading journals, listening to podcasts, and engaging with other educational outlets.
