Use a light moisturizer for oily or combination skin to soak in and not be too heavy. Lying in a tanning bed or out in the sun is going to do more damage than good. When you do go in the sun, make sure you are wearing an SPF of 30 or higher to protect your skin. Sun damage doesn’t just appear in the form of sunburns but can also cause skin cancer, which can be deadly if not detected early. If you are going to be in the sun for a long time, a higher SPF is recommended, and if you are going to be in and out of water, SPF should be reapplied often.
